So growing up, Dad always loved to make a big Sunday breakfast. Homefries, eggs, bacon.. Mom would make her apple pancakes and homemade grape jelly syrup (if I told you you wouldn’t appreciate it). Still to this day, I know my sister is adamant about a big Sunday breakfast for her and her hubby. I on the other hand, have fallen off the wagon. Until today.
It’s funny how good food and a good fire can just warm your heart. That and your Family. For anyone lucky enough to have grown up in a close knit family, and still have them somewhat close, make time. Life gets soooooo damn busy, MAKE THE TIME. Get everyone you can together. They are your bestest closest do anything for Loves of your life, and yes, they also can drive you the most crazy. But, there is something special about that quality time without TV, without the everyday distractions, just enjoying the company. That said, today’s brunch warmed all our hearts. Appreciate your family. And by the way, family doesn’t have to be blood, sometimes we are given our families, and some we chose. Either way, you know who they are 🙂

I decided it would be a good idea to host Family Game night! For anyone with Family close by.. Where life seems to get so busy, you wonder how on earth its been 2 weeks since you saw them… Set up Game night! I am hosting. I already committed to Turkey Dinner.
